Parent workshops will be offered four times throughout the year both in-person (locations within the NY/NJ) and virtually.  Parents will leave each workshop feeling EMPOWERed and ready to implement new strategies that will best support their child(ren)- of all ages and abilities. 

The following topics will be covered during this comprehensive workshop:

1.  Effective communication

2.  Modifying behaviors

3.  Promoting independence

4.  Options outside of their typical day 

5.  Walk/Wheel a mile in your child's shoes 

6.  Enhancing executive functioning skills 

7.  Reviewing your rights

*All workshops provide a hands on learning experience where you walk away not only with new knowledge to use and share, but resources that can be easily implemented in your home/community the very same day.
